the power of fun activities

the power of fun activities
ideas, activities, learning resources for English language teaching

Hi, I’m Novella di Soccio—an English as a Foreign Language teacher with a passion for making learning both effective and enjoyable. I currently teach at an Italian Liceo Scientifico (Scientific High School), but my experience also spans lower secondary school, which has given me a broad perspective on how students learn and grow through the years.

I created The Power of Fun Activities to bring together the teaching strategies, lesson ideas, and resources I’ve designed and tested in my own classrooms. My goal is simple: to support fellow teachers in finding engaging, practical activities that help students build skills and confidence in English.

Alongside my teaching practice, I hold a degree in European and American Modern Languages and Literatures, as well as postgraduate specializations in Teaching and Linguistic Methodologies. In 2016, I earned my permanent position through the Italian National Ministry of Education as an EFL teacher.

This website is my way of sharing what works, what inspires, and what makes teaching and learning a little more fun. Whether you’re looking for classroom-ready activities, professional tips, or just a spark of new ideas, I hope you’ll find something here that speaks to you.
